The article also talks a little about neuroscientist, Dr. Richard Hanson's HEAL framework. Detailed in his 2013 book, Hardwiring Happiness, the HEAL framework is a method for cultivating positive experiences in a way that seeks to embed them more effectively in our memory as well as to leverage them for healing negative experiences and memories. Hardwiring Happiness is a great book—I highly recommend it.
