When Depression Becomes the Norm
Unchecked depression doesn’t just affect your emotions—it impacts your mind, body, and relationships. It can distort the way you see yourself and the world, making everything feel overwhelming or impossible. The longer it lingers, the harder it can be to remember what life felt like before.
But depression is not who you are. It’s an experience, not an identity—and with the right support, you can find your way back to yourself. You don’t have to fight this battle alone. At The Art of Monday Morning, we help you navigate the depths of depression with compassion, awareness, and practical tools to bring light back into your life.
You Don’t Want to Live Like This Anymore
At some point, you realize that something has to change. You’re tired of feeling stuck, exhausted, or hopeless. You don’t want to keep going through the motions without truly living. More than anything, you just want to feel joy again—to wake up with a sense of purpose, to reconnect with yourself and the world around you.
Depression isn’t just feeling sad—it’s a heaviness that lingers, a fog that makes even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming. Maybe you wake up already exhausted, struggling to find motivation or joy in the things you used to love. Or perhaps you feel disconnected from the people around you, even when they’re right beside you. You tell yourself to snap out of it, but no matter how hard you try, the weight won’t lift. Deep down, you just want to feel like yourself again.
