Origin Story

In the beginning, God said, “Let there be light!” And you appeared.

This "original" version of Origin Story that I'm sharing with you here is much different than the relatively short "poem" that appears in Refuge in Small Things as entry 074.

Maybe it's a Gen X thing, or maybe it's just the gift of how I was raised, but I'm hesitant to say that I'm proud of anything . . . but I think I may be proud of this.
